I performed technical site survey of green field sites on behalf of Ericsson and Indra Company to submit the proposals of 50m to 120m turnkey telecom sites for ministry of defense project in the western region of Oman. I also prepared and submitted complete documents of TETRA mobile radio and 100m telecom towers to Petrofac and a proposal of 3 legged self supported towers of various heights (30m, 40m, 50m, and 60m) to Omantel.

Core focus to supervise and manage day to day activities in civil works implementation for Du and Etisalat telecom projects. I also supervised construction and installation of Etihad Railway transmission towers project in western region of UAE. Job Responsibilities:- • Inspection of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Telecom installation works on site, according to Project Quality Plan requirements. • Responsible for monitoring and inspecting BSS site CME and Telecom installation work progress to verify that the implementation is done according to customer specifications. • Ensure pro-active quality improvement actions in cooperation with the project team, suppliers and customer. • Review that material inspection has been done and documented. • Site installation method, quality and tools are reviewed according to site inspection check-list. If issues found, they are reported in the check-list. • Report quality of work, issues found and corrected to Project Quality Management. • Supervised and managed rigging teams in erection of self-supported towers and monopoles by implementing quality and safety standards. • Explain and support implementation teams to perform site implementation correctly and no any dependencies are left to site. • Carried out structural inspections of telecommunications structures and cross checked after rectification by the subcontractors to offer for customer acceptance.

Shankland Cox provided consultancy services to du telecom for preparing quality inspection reports of more than 1000 telecom sites with recommendations on how to remove deficiencies of angular, tubular, monopoles, palm trees, and structures on buildings. Job Responsibilities:- • I prepared quality inspection reports of (self-supported towers, monopoles) up to 120m height including inspection of installed GSM antennas using cell aligner. • Verified that final BOQ equals what is built on site and as-built drawings to support Invoice approval. • Verified that deficiencies are removed by subcontractors within agreed time frames and signed the acceptance test documents.

: I joined Alcatel-lucent in the initiating phase of Orange Uganda GSM turnkey rollout project until successful completion of phase 3. During this tenure I participated in planning, execution, monitoring and control throughout the project. Moreover I worked on laying of optical fiber cable project in the eastern region from Kampala to Malaba. Job Responsibilities:- • Responsible for ISSR/TSSR/BOM/VO/as built documents CW and structure parts verification. • Review and give approval to site engineering designs submitted by Vendors including site engineering, tower/shelter/DG foundation, grounding system and electricity system, etc. ensure to deliver the documents timely and assure the quality. • Supervise site building process including civil works implementation, concrete casting of structure foundations, ac/dc cabling, and grounding and lightning protection systems. • Work on tower top, looking after all aspects of work while at the tower top, to ensure that a quality installation has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load-hopping, etc. • Perform structural inspections of telecom towers with recommendations. • Responsible for controlling additional CW work quantity and items and tracing design changes. • Collect and review all on-site closeout documentation and submit to the project manager as per the deliverable timelines. • Follow up the construction process and conduct successful site acceptance with the customer.

• Follow up site progress and produce a weekly status report. Update the site info data base. • Participate in regular site meetings during construction to identify critical works issues, resolve problems and clarify contract issues relating to civil engineering aspects. • Meet quality and performance KPI with supporting documents. • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise. • Conduct acceptance test procedures with contractor upon project completion to ensure full contract compliance.

• Responsible for civil works supervision and inspection of telecom sites by following inspection procedures. • Check the preparations of tower foundations, stability and firmness of form works, steel fixing and concrete design mix as per specifications prior to pouring. • Impose a strong corrective measure to the sub-cons by following timetable and schedules as per plan. • Perform end-to-end dependency check according to the specific engineering requirements for each site assigned in coordination with the Site Acquisition, Engineering, Telecom Works and Security. • Evaluate construction drawings and verify against approved generic plans and Recommend cost efficient options. • Follow-up blocking issues of acceptance process and escalate the problem together with plans of action to acceptance manager and other relevant persons such as: quality management.
